Bytemark Launches Mobile App for SamTrans

 
 

On Tuesday, September 4th Bytemark launched a mobile ticketing app for San Mateo County Transit District (SamTrans). The app is compatible with both iOS and Android, allowing riders to set up a secure account to purchase, save and use tickets. The app includes an advanced trip-planner allowing riders to plan trips anywhere in the Bay Area. What you can do with the app

  • Pay bus fare using your phone without having to carry cash or worry about exact change

  • Buy and use fares instantly using a debit/credit card for a single fare or multiple fares for a group of riders. Mobile tickets must be used within thirty days

  • Learn more about how to use SamTrans and other transit systems to get around San Mateo County and beyond.
